EV Buzz (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an EV charging station listing and EV information app designed to help users discover charging locations and learn about EV models available in Cambodia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (“App”) and related services.

• Account information such as your name, email address, and profile photo when signing in with Google, Apple, or other identity providers.

2.1 Device & App Data

• Device model, OS version, and app version
• Language and region settings

2.2 Location Information

Location is used only to show nearby charging stations. Your precise location is not stored on our servers.

2.3 Usage Data

• Feature usage patterns
• Screen interactions
• Crash logs and performance metrics

3. Content Provided by the App (Non-Personal Data)

The App displays general public EV information, including:

• EV charging stations across Cambodia
• EV charging station details (plug types, hours, amenities, pricing)
• Lists of EV models popular and commonly used in Cambodia
• EV model specifications published by manufacturers
• General market insights

4. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve App functionality
• Show nearby EV charging stations
• Authenticate users
• Monitor performance and stability
• Analyze usage trends

We do not sell personal data.

5. How We Store & Protect Your Data

5.1 Data Storage

We use secure third-party cloud platforms such as Firebase.

5.2 Data Protection

5.3 App Integrity & Security (App Attest)

EV Buzz uses Apple’s App Attest technology (part of DeviceCheck) to verify that the App is genuine, unmodified, and running on a legitimate device. This helps prevent tampering, fraud, and unauthorized access. App Attest does not collect personal information.

5.4 Local Data Encryption

The App stores certain cached data locally (such as station lists or EV model data) to improve performance and offline access. Where applicable, this local data is protected using:

• Encrypted local databases
• Secure Enclave–protected keys where supported
• iOS data protection classes

No sensitive personal data is stored locally without encryption.

6. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (authentication, analytics, crash reporting, database)
• Apple Maps
• OpenID Connect identity providers

7. Children’s Privacy

EV Buzz is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such data is discovered, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights & Choices

• Disable location access
• Request account deletion
• Request data access or removal
• Opt out of analytics via device settings

9. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for functionality, legal compliance, and security. When no longer needed, data is securely erased.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be stored outside your region. Protective safeguards are applied to these transfers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date will be revised, and we may notify you in the App when significant changes occur.
